Public Service

Public Service Highlights

As Director of Employment Relations, I focused on enhancing the accuracy of data related to registered Caymanians and streamlining processes to better serve the public, all while ensuring compliance with labor laws and implementing employment reforms. Subsequently, as CEO of CINICO, I completed the Summary Plan Document contract between the CIG and CINICO dedicated myself to providing affordable and accessible healthcare for over 15,000 members, including seafarers, veterans, civil servants, and pensioners. In both roles, I emphasized the importance of an objective approach, accountability, transparency, and, above all, prioritizing people’s needs.

A Lifelong Advocate for Cayman Brac and Little Cayman

I have always answered the call to support the people of Cayman Brac. While at CINICO, I developed protocols for home health care and sponsored the Cayman Brac Football team, personally providing refreshments for their trips to Grand Cayman for many years. During my visits to overseas hospitals, I took time to connect with every CINICO member there, especially my fellow Brackers.

With a diverse background in both public service and private entrepreneurship, I am dedicated to improving lives through innovative solutions, transparency, and a people-first philosophy.

Economic Growth of Brac

Modernized Infrastructure

I will demand the CIG upgrade essential services on both Islands, such as roads, port facilities and equipment, public works equipment and services, emergency services and disaster preparedness. These necessities are long-overdue and are essential to both maintaining, and enhancing, the quality of life for residents and future growth because the Sister Islands deserve better.

Community Centric Development Cayman Brac

Community-Centric Development

Comprehensive development plans are key to guiding responsible land use and improving infrastructure in the Sister Islands. In addition, engaging with residents through initiatives like Plan Cayman ensures that development aligns with their aspirations. Supporting local businesses, developing programs with civic awareness and encouraging local input into the design and development of infrastructure projects strengthens community bonds and fosters a sense of shared purpose.

Modernizing public sector processes, developing clearly defined protocols with an objective approach to decisions, as well as shifting more service requests online will improve accessibility and efficiency, and ensure that governance serves the best interests of all citizens.
